Swash’s world is enchanted. It’s a planet made of beautiful things that reminds us the beauty of infancy and the thoughtlessness of youth. Swash  is not only a simple fashion house but is also a more complex project that includes painted artworks, installations and sculptures. Sarah Swash and Toshio Yamanakas met in 2001 at Central St. Martin College of Art and Design and even after graduation have continued their creative relationship between Penzance in Cornwall and Japan. In 2004  the duo presented their work at Hyres Festival where winning the prize was as natural as drinking a glass of tap water. From that moment on,  their spellbound vision of the world, clearly inhaled with the genius of Fornasetti and Hermes foulard prints, took off. Continue Reading →
