DAMN THING WENT CRAZY BUT I SWEAR YOU’RE THE ONLY ONE

Remember the early 2000s, when the it bag mania first came out? All bloggers (included myself) were obsessively checking what Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie were carrying, so as to decide what to put our eyes (and hopefully money) on. Back then, the choice was limited, or maybe it was us who were too influenced by those trend-setters. Now things have changed: the it bags to choose from are endless, so everyone can pick the one which really speaks to her fashionista heart.
Take the creations by Jérôme Dreyfuss, for example: they’re made of fine leather (calfskin, lambskin, goatskin, reptile skin) and combine classic lines with quirky details. Each style has a male name, picked by the designer himself (on the contrary, most of the brands, give female names to bags), and appeals to very diverse customers.
The spring/summer 2014 collection includes many interesting models, among which some pieces made of black and white honeycomb-print pony calfskin. The one which has caught my attention is the calfskin medium version of the Billy bag, though; it’s available in black, navy and emerald, but the colour which seems just perfect for the upcoming spring is Malachite, a soft shade of light blue which makes me think of clear skies, flowers in bloom and warm temperatures.
The bag features two handles and a strap, so it can be carried by hand or over the shoulder; it has a practical inside pocket and another outside, zipped. On the inside you can also find a metal chain hook and the style name embossed (nice detail).
Ready or not, spring is coming. There’s nothing better than a sky-hued new it bag to welcome it in style.
