It happens every four years and it is followed like a real race, with tension and feelings. Although it is a purely American event, the presidential election is the political event which influences the economical fate of the rest of the world. The American election campaigns are theatrical, full of strong emotions, and based on strategy.JFK was,for instance, the first president to reach worldwide presence through television. For President,is an exhibition that retraces the history of different election campaigns relied on photojournalism, contemporary art and advertising for the various candidates.The exhibition also shows the colorful and fascinating world of propaganda including political demonstrations and everything from the attempts to promote one’s image to the attempts to destroy that of his or her adversary. A good chance, to dedicate some time to every aspect of what’s behind and beyond American elections.
