GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

A Diamond Jubilee is a very special event for a country and Great Britain, which is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the accession to the throne of Elizabeth II, has taken it very seriously. Many British fashion brands have produced limited editions of their classics, but Anya Hindmarch has brought things on a higher level. The project Bespoke Maud is fascinating because it turns back time to a period when bespoke evening bags were a must-have accessory for ladies.
Maud is a satin evening frame bag, a staple in Hindmarch’s collections, produced in six special colours to celebrate the Jubilee. Besides emerald, it can be purchased in fuchsia and plum.
Other available colours are midnight and black.
The handmade bag can also be found in silver. What is special about it? First of all, the feminine shape, reminiscent of 50s evening bags, and then the details. The front can be personalised with embroidered initials, while the inside can be customized with a personal handwritten note; the metal closure is crystal-studded, which makes the bag even more precious.
The trademark British spirit can also be found in an adorable paper tiara and the guide Queen for a Day, included in this limited edition.
