American artist and filmmaker Alfred Leslie will be exhibited from tomorrow on at Janet Borden Inc. Maybe one of the greatest painters alive, Leslie started as an abstract expressionist , but changed course in the early 1960’s and devoted himself to realistic figurative paintings. Leslie had a very long career and worked almost with every material, painting, still ,remains his favourite way of expression. The Lives Of Some Women will be on display until June 12th at 560 Broadway between Prince Street and Spring Street.
