SMELL FESTIVAL, THIRD EDITION

The third Edition of ” Smell” Festival (Bologna,Italy,  22/ 27 May 2012) is starting tomorrow. This year the event is called ” L’alba dell’indomani ” ( the dawn of next day) and it consists in 6 days of meetings, olfactions, installations and workshops dedicated to the magical sense.  Special guests of this edition are Osmotheque , the prestigious Conservatory of Perfume of Versaille  and  Michel  Roudnitska, son of the well known Edmond  creator of scents like Eau Sauvage- Dior. Michel is  a pioneer of “scented shows” and founder of Art&Parfum, a laboratory frequented by many independent perfumers. Michel Roudnitska will be protagonist of an entitled intervention  called “Over the perfume”, that guide participants through a smell-therapy typical of native Americans, to which Roudnitska is devoted. Another guest star is  Meo Fuscioni that is  purposing  his project themed on  “L’Alba di domani” and present,  in preview, his new perfume called “Luce” .  Happenings, round tables, experiences but also a “Fragrance Swap Party” that will take place at Hotel Majestic on 25th May from 6 p.m. on. An occasion to fete and hang out  but also to swap rare and less rare perfumes with others scent addicts.

Italian and international guests will meet at the Smell Festival in Bologna  to celebrate and give space to an extraordinary part of our lives, maybe the less evident one. The culture of perfume in a 6 days trip around the world  (without moving).
