Halloween has not even arrived, but nail polish companies are already gearing up for Christmas and the holiday season. I must admit holiday collections are always super-exciting because they include many shades of red (the festive colour par excellence) and lots of glitters!

I’ve got my eyes on a collection in particular, Naughty or Nice by Orly. I’ve immediately felt drawn to it because it features exactly what I love the most – two great red shades (one sparkly and one creme) and silver sparkles. I’m not a great collector of Orly nail polishes, but the ones I own are excellent in quality and colour; for this reason, I wouldn’t mind finding one of these Christmas-inspired polishes in my stocking 😉

The shades above are Torrid (a rich metallic burgundy), Miss Conduct (magenta with silver holo-effect glitters), Angel Eyes (a mix of small blue and silver holo-effect glitters), Devil May Care (a mix of small red and gold holo-effect glitters), Halo (a mix of gold and silver glitters) and Unlawful (a classic shiny red). One must give Orly credit for making a holiday collection which doesn’t include a metallic or glitter green shade, which seems obiquitous in most holiday releases. Here you can find some swatches: it’s quite safe to say that I’m hopelessly in love with Angel Eyes and Halo; I also like Devil May Care, but I’m not excited about it as I am for the other two colours.

Orly nail polishes are 3-free because they don’t contain DBP, Toluene or Formaldehyde. One of the strongest points of their bottles is the rubber grip handle, which makes application easier than ever.
